Sign Up

Purpose

This menu allows administrators to manage the content of the user sign up form. All changes made to sign up fields on this page will have an immediate effect on the published sign up form.

Field Classes

There are three classes of sign-up fields:

• Static fields

• Quasi static fields

• Dynamic fields

Static Fields

Static fields are required for SBC operation to manage access authentication and authorization to services. They are created by default, are always available, and cannot be deleted. Static fields are:

• User name

• Password

• Email address

• First name

• Last name

• Company

Static fields are mandatory and always public. They provide the minimum information required to allow using SBC, X-pos or RT-Products with Ntrip authentication. The same unique User name and Password is used for all three internet based services.

Quasi Static Fields

Quasi static fields are optional system default fields, namely

• Ntrip user name

• Ntrip password

• Dial-in authentication

• Host address (IP v4)

• Users picture

• GPUID1

• GPUID2

• Mobile phone

• Job title

Only the status and mandatory setting of these fields are editable.

These details are generally not mandatory for SBC operation, but may be required for certain real-time data authentication scenarios. Therefore, they are neither published nor mandatory for registration by default.

In the case that you provide RTK services from GNSS Spider that do require any of these optional data fields for GNSS Spider real-time service authentication, you should set the respective fields to be public. You should only set them to be mandatory, if all of your provided RT-Products require that type of authentication.

Dynamic Fields

Dynamic fields are custom defined sign up fields that can be created, edited and deleted by administrators. Except the “Field class“ can not be modified, other info can be updated.
