Working with tables

Most data managed by SBC appears in tables. Tables use infinite scroll to performantly show the data.

The tables display selected properties of a data record as columns. You can sort the tables by clicking any column header.

Filtering

Filtering applies to all columns in the table. Enter any string in the input field at the top left to show only matching records. Only visible column properties are considered. The input accepts all characters. The search criterion is “Is Contained”. Filtering updates as you type. Clearing the input removes the filter.

The filter icon button to the right of the filter field allows you to define “Advanced filters”. The advanced filter lets you set one criterion per specific column. Multiple criteria combine with a logical AND, so all must be met to display an item.

On some tables the filter icon button to the right of the filter field also offers a selection of “Quick filters”. These are predefined filters that are useful for that specific table.

Bulk Actions

Some tables allow bulk actions, i.e., actions that can be done for all selected records in one batch.

The bulk action menu appears above the table as soon as some records in a table are selected. The menu will contain different actions depending on the type of record, e.g., delete, export etc.

Working with records

On all pages that allow entering, modifying, viewing, or deleting of certain data records, the same elements are used.
